Privacy Policy

This policy explains what HoodNerdz Technology ("HoodNerdz", "we") collects when you use hoodnerdztechnology.com, why, who we share it with, and your choices. Contact: hoodnerdzllc@gmail.com, 6071 Old National Hwy Unit A #110, Atlanta, GA 30349.

1. What we collect

Account details: name, email, phone number, password (stored only as a secure hash) and, if you were referred, the affiliate code.
Domain owner details: your address, which domain registries require for every domain you register.
Orders and billing: what you bought, bills, payments and refunds. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
Shipping: name and address for merch orders.
Your services: domain settings, DNS records, hosting and mailbox settings, and anything you send us for a website build (survey answers, files, revision requests).
Affiliates and developers: the details Stripe needs to pay you (Stripe collects identity and bank or card details on its own secure form), plus your profile, earnings and payouts.
Technical data: IP address, browser, pages visited, and error reports with a reference code, kept in our server logs to run and secure the site.

2. How we use it

To provide what you buy: register domains, run hosting, ship merch, build websites, and bill you.
To charge automatic renewals and bills if you've left auto-pay on.
To send service emails: confirmations, receipts, renewal reminders, bills, and security notices.
To pay affiliates and developers, and to prevent fraud, spam sign-ups and abuse.
To find and fix problems, and to meet legal and tax obligations.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.

Only with service providers who need it to do their part, under their own privacy terms:

Stripe: payments, saved cards, tax calculation, and affiliate/developer payouts.
Openprovider and domain registries: registering and managing your domains (owner name, address, email and phone). WHOIS privacy hides these from public lookups where the extension allows.
Printful and EasyPost: printing and shipping merch, and checking shipping addresses.
Our email provider: sending service emails.
Cloudflare Turnstile (if shown at sign-up): telling people apart from bots.
Error monitoring (if turned on): technical error reports, without your name or email.
Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect people from harm.

Your website files and mailboxes are hosted on our own servers.

4. Cookies and browser storage

We use only the cookies the site needs to work: your login session, security (form protection), and your cart. Your browser also remembers small things like whether you closed an offer popup. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

5. How long we keep it

We keep account and order records while your account is open and for as long as tax and accounting laws require afterwards (generally 7 years for billing records). Domain records are also kept by the registrar and registry under their own rules. Server logs and error reports are kept for a limited time and then deleted.

6. Your choices and rights

Update your details and domain owner address in your account at any time.
Turn auto-pay and domain auto-renew on or off.
Ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account. Some records (like billing records, or domain records held by registries) may have to be kept by law.
Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU), you may have extra rights. Contact us and we'll help.

7. Security

We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, automatic sign-out after inactivity, two-step sign-in for our admin tools, and access limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we'll tell you as the law requires.

8. Children, changes, contact

Our services are for adults; we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. We'll post any changes here with a new date and email you about significant ones. Questions or requests: hoodnerdzllc@gmail.com.
